For more than 11 years, Anton Ponomarev (saxophones) and Dmitry Lapshin (bass) have been colleagues in the Brom band (which recently became a resident of the Austrian TROST Records label), as well as prominent figures in the Moscow improvisational and experimental music scene. They played and improvised together as part of the Brom group and separately with such musicians as Paal Nilssen-Love and Ingebrigt Håker Flaten, Umezu Kazutoki, Mette Rasmussen and Ståle Liavik Solberg, Christian Muller, Ryoko Ono, Burton Greene and others.
