Wojciech Jachna (1976) – Trumpeter and improviser. A graduate of History at the University of Kazimierz Wielki in Bydgoszcz and of the Music Academy in Bydgoszcz. Is known on the Polish jazz scene for blurring boundaries between genres, and have worked on many experimental projects, crossing over into psychedelic music and folk like Contemporary Noise Sextet, Sing Sing Penelope, Mordy or DUBSKA. He is a member now of plenty projects like Innercity Ensemble, SUNDIAL Trio, JAZĄBU, Jachna/Wójciński and Jachna/Mazurkiewicz/Buhl.
He cooperated with such artists: the legend of the Polish improvised scene, Andrzej Przybielski, and Irek Wojtczak, Marek Kądziela, Grzegorz Nadolny, Tomasz Glazik, Rafał Gorzycki, Tomasz Pawlicki, Rafał Kołacki, Tomek Gadecki, Marcin Dymiter, Jacek, Anna Zielińska, Ksawery Wójciński, Jacek Mazurkiewicz, Paweł Szpura, Artur Maćkowiak, Kuba Ziołek, Rafał Iwański, and Zbigniew Chojnacki.
